Venice Every Day - Piazza Ferretto

A historic spot in the centre of Mestre, and one of my favourite places to spend time. I like meeting people there over a drink and a snack, and there are good shops as well.

A lovely, peaceful piazza, with lots of families and people of different ages around.

There’s a calm, cozy local feel to Piazza Erminio Ferrero, a little square tucked away from Mestre’s busy streets. I liked taking a break there, whether for coffee, a bit of people-watching, or just some quiet. Small shops and greenery surround the square, giving it a taste of everyday Venetian life. A nice place to stop while exploring the area.

My husband grew up in this area, and it’s such a warm little town with a lot of history. I loved the small shops and the beautiful things they had. There’s also a nice restaurant serving sandwiches and drinks, with a good place to sit, relax, and enjoy the view. The market was awesome. I think it’s usually on Wednesday, but I’d double-check. There was so much to see, including good food, cute outfits, plants, household things, gifts, and plenty of people. I’m so glad I got to share it with my mom.
