B+B Porta Marina feels authentically Italian without trying too hard. The owner was accommodating and did everything possible to make our trip a great one. Our room was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed, while the dining room downstairs was full of antiques and his collection of all sorts of things. The breakfast buffet was enough to set us up for the day. It's within walking distance of Ventimiglia train station and even has a sea view. There are lovely restaurants nearby at really reasonable prices. If we get the chance to return to Italy, we'll certainly stay here again on our way further inland.

Antonina was an absolute angel and made our stay wonderful. B&B Porta Marina in Ventimiglia has been one of our favourite places to stay. The rooms were tasteful, comfortable, and clean. It's about a 15-minute walk from the train station and right at the foot of the old city, which is ideal if you want to explore. We'd definitely come back.

By chance, I found both this B&B and the border city of Ventimiglia. It was a wonderful discovery, and it's now high on my list.

I came here by mistake because another hotel a block away had a similar name. I didn't stay here. The proprietor wasn't helpful and seemed quite annoyed.
