La Terrazza dei Pelargoni B&B

Our family room was lovely and comfortable, with tapestries and artwork giving it the feel of a stately home. Breakfast on the roof terrace was a real highlight: a wonderful spread, amazing coffee, and freshly squeezed blood orange juice, with views of the mountains and coast. It was a superb overnight stay, the kind of Italy you dream about.

The B&B is charmingly quaint, and staying here made us feel like locals. The room was clean, the bathroom had been renovated, and the owners were friendly and nice. The rooftop terrace where breakfast is served was just awesome. It's on a hill in the old part of town, so getting to the beach or train station isn't convenient.

Assal was very kind, welcomed me, and made my stay really pleasant. The room, the location, the service, and the view from the terrace were all amazing. They also took my request for plant-based milk and vegetarian breakfast options into account, and I really enjoyed my night and morning there.

There's no reception, and it seems the person in charge comes on the day, so I contacted the hotel the day before to give my arrival time. I only got an "Ok..." in reply. When I arrived, I contacted them again, but heard nothing. I waited more than an hour, then asked what time they'd come and said I wanted a reply, but still got no response. Google Maps says it's a 15-minute walk from the station, but the steep uphill route is really hard with a suitcase.
