B&B Jasmina Venzone

The breakfast was a highlight, with plenty to choose from: bread, cheese, meat, and yogurt. The room and shared bathroom were both really clean, and I felt welcome. The bathroom was spacious, and I enjoyed a nice shower before bed. Parking was good, too. But we woke several times during the night when someone flushed the toilet, and at 6 a.m. the first guest leaving made quite a bit of noise. The rooms weren’t well insulated, so we could hear other guests. We paid €70 for one night, which felt expensive for a shared bathroom and a place that isn’t much of a tourist spot. We needed a room on our way back to Austria and chose this B&B because of its good reviews. I called that morning and spoke with the owner’s daughter, since the owner doesn’t speak English. Luckily a room was free. We arrived around 9 p.m., which was fine, then went out for dinner. The town has a lot of history, with its stone wall and cozy streets. We ate at Locanda al Municipo and enjoyed the authentic food.

The backyard has a comfortable spot to relax, and the service was great. The owner was so nice and helpful. Our room was very clean, the price was good, and breakfast was amazing. I’d definitely come back.
