B&B La Lanterna

Dear Giovanna and Andrea, thank you for making us feel at home right away and welcoming us so warmly. The B&B is cozy, lovingly furnished, and clearly run with a lot of passion. Our room was very clean, the bed was so comfortable we slept like babies, and the little balcony had a beautiful lake view. We enjoyed good wine from your wine fridge there in the evenings. Breakfast was small but delicious, with freshly baked pastries and a magnificent view of the lake each morning. We wish you all the best and many more lovely guests. We'd love to come back. Every morning there was a fresh, lovingly prepared breakfast, and we wanted for nothing. The rooms are cozy and tastefully done. Giovanna and her son Andrea are attentive, helpful, and so hospitable that you feel cared for, not just given a place to sleep. They run this B&B with real warmth and heart. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. A place to relax and feel good.

The part of our stay we keep thinking about most is Giovanna and Andrea's warm welcome and help with everything, plus the fantastic desserts she made fresh every morning. They were tasty, authentic, and different each day. Angela and I had a long, wonderful stay at B&B La Lanterna in Fondo Toce, and left with a piece of our heart there. We can't wait to return. The historic farmhouse has been beautifully renovated and is tidy and clean. Even in the August 2024 heat, it was pleasantly cool inside. From the bedrooms and the large terrace, we could enjoy the priceless view of Lake Maggiore. The location up the hill, overlooking the lake and Toce River, is fantastic. Angela and Roberto
