I'm writing this while we're dining, since the restaurant has been such a good experience. The food is excellent quality, beautifully presented, and there were impressive options for me as a vegetarian. I also loved the house red. I prefer red wine that isn't chilled, fizzy, or sweet, and this one was nicely balanced. I've had some really subpar, even awful, red wine by the glass in Italy, which is sad. Here, it's all right. Grazie. I don't think some of the reviews reflect what we experienced.

The food and service were good, but the mosquitoes pretty much ruined our visit. Don't come after sunset, when they're a serious problem. I'm Australian and hardly ever get bitten, so this infestation was something else.

The owner and staff were very nice and helpful, and the food at the restaurant downstairs was super. That restaurant looks modern and clean. The hotel rooms were also clean, with a well-kept interior. It's right on the lake and has a little private beach with sunbeds and umbrellas.

The Italian menu was authentic, classic, and delicious, made with local ingredients. The wine list is world class, and the location is phenomenal. For what you get, it's incredibly good value. Truly spectacular.
