I loved the sunny balcony above the coloured rooftops, especially in the quiet before the day visitors arrived. The room is small but has the basics you need. The rooftop view makes the few flights of stairs feel worthwhile, though anyone with mobility issues should take them into account. It’s close to the train station and about 2 minutes from the waterside. We found it easily, and communication over the app was great. I’d strongly recommend parking along the trainline and bringing a small overnight backpack to make the alleys and stairways easier to navigate.

My loft style room was compact and cute, just right for a short stay in Vernazza. The bed is upstairs inside the unit. Check-in and reception were coordinated easily over WhatsApp. The place was very clean and quick to reach from the train station, though there are a few stairs to climb.

After three weeks in Italy, this had the best shower of all the hotels and b&bs we stayed in. There’s also a nice balcony and a fridge, and the station is very close. Be aware that reaching the room means climbing many steps on a narrow staircase. We managed fine, but it may not suit everyone.

We were four in the 2 bed suite with a terrace, and all of us would recommend it for a stay in Vernazza. The apartment is clean, beautifully updated and in a great location. Double paned windows kept it very quiet, and there’s air conditioning in every room. The hosts gave us perfect directions and responded quickly whenever we had questions. Just be prepared to climb stairs to reach the apartment.
