Mrs. Clelia is delightful, kind, and always ready to help. The village is peaceful, and from here you can reach the beaches of Torre dell'Orso and anywhere in the province of Lecce within minutes. Antico Palazzo in Vernole is a welcoming holiday home, spacious, neat, and clean.

Clelia was kind and attentive to what we needed throughout our stay. The property is spotless and full of thoughtful details, and it's well placed for visiting the historic center, nearby villages, and beaches. There's parking close by too. Highly recommended!!! I can only give it 5 stars! Morena.

We were welcomed with so much courtesy and friendliness by Mr. and Mrs. Luca and Clelia. Clelia's breakfast table featured exquisite homemade work. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the historic setting has a lot of charm. It's a quiet base for relaxing and exploring Salento, with beautiful coastline and stunning sea. Otranto, Lecce, and some of Puglia's loveliest towns are 20-40 minutes away. Thanks again, and see you soon.

As promised, I came back to Vernole this year and stayed at the ancient palace. It was lovely to see the owners again; they were very kind and helpful. The place was undeniably clean and peaceful, and its location is really handy for getting to the beaches. To avoid any doubt, choose the ancient palace. Thanks again!

Susy and Alfonso from Naples We came because friends recommended it, and ended up loving the place for ourselves. The owners know the area so well, and their warm, welcoming setting made our short visit feel especially memorable. It was comfortable and pleasant throughout. If you're passing through, I'd happily recommend stopping here. You may be pleasantly surprised.
