Agriturismo Corte Moranda

The jasmine from the garden came right through the open windows, and the house was so peaceful. We stayed for a long weekend. Our rooms were spacious, very clean, and decorated with care. It’s a short drive to Verona and the station, which makes it possible to visit Venice and other nearby cities by train. Selene and Camilla made us feel very welcome. They gave us lots of useful suggestions for meals and sightseeing, plus parking advice when we needed it. Our late arrival was no problem, and their instructions were clear. Communication was great. We’d love to return.

We really felt at home here. We were the only guests, so it was very quiet, and Selene and Camilla did everything to make us comfortable. They also gave us useful advice on sightseeing and places to eat in Verona and Garda. We enjoyed cycling into Verona, which took about 30 minutes for the 8 km. Breakfast was amazing every morning, served indoors or in the garden. The room was spacious, and the wine tasting tour was fascinating, especially the stories about the wine, its history, and how it’s made on the farm. A very friendly, relaxing stay. If we visit Verona again, Agriturismo Corte Moranda will be high on our list.

We had a wonderful stay, with great hosts and a lovely, idyllic estate surrounded by vineyards.

The parking area is in the garden among olive trees, and even with a car and bike rack it took several maneuvers to get in. SUVs and vans simply can’t access it. We booked directly with the accommodation after finding it fully booked on Booking.com. For two people, two nights with breakfast were confirmed and invoiced at €240. After paying in advance, we received another invoice for €140, plus tourist tax of €5 per person per day. In the end, the two nights cost us €400. At breakfast, only the sausage and cheese were fresh; the croissants and other items came from supermarket bulk packs. We relied on the good reviews and were disappointed.
