Appartamento Vicolo San Francesco

For 80 euros, I expected something better than student-standard accommodation. The two single beds were pushed together, the shower was so tiny you could barely get in, and the furniture was sparse and poor quality. I felt ripped off; I was hoping for a proper B&B with some character, and this wasn't that at all. For the same price, I might have found a half-decent hotel. There were some good points: the location was good, near the centre, with a friendly bar on the corner. The mattresses were quite comfortable, the woman who brought the keys was friendly, and there was hot water.

Lina, the owner, was so nice, and the apartment was clean with a comfortable bed. The kitchen was fully equipped, though we didn't need to use it. The location is perfect. If we're back in Verona, we'll stay here again.

The place was clean, and we really appreciated being allowed to check in early. Having a washing machine was a bonus. We enjoyed our stay.

Dreadful stay, and not worth even half of the 100 euros it cost. There was blood on the pillow, the toilet seat was broken, and one of the beds had no sheet. Don't stay here.
