The rooms were clean and had a nice feel, but this was one of the worst hotel stays I've had. I picked it based on what I read online and got that wrong. The owner came across as unfriendly, irritable, and rigid. After travelling more than 1,000 km, we arrived an hour and a half before 3 p.m. The rooms were already ready, but she still wouldn't let us in. We had to wait for over an hour, exhausted, in the hot sun with our one-and-a-half-year-old. Breakfast was another letdown: at 7:30 she brought a basket with a few croissants, yogurts, rusks, and juice, but no plates or teapot. She left it with us and went away.

The room was completely quiet and spacious, with strong air conditioning and a new private bathroom featuring an XXL shower and all the comforts. The property was modern and spotless, a few kilometres from the city centre. Breakfast was excellent, generous, and varied. The owners were kind, helpful, and professional. It was easy to reach by car, with parking available nearby. I had a perfect, comfortable stay and will definitely come back.

We stayed in the yellow room and felt very comfortable. It was carefully furnished, with a proper bed and a big duvet, and the bathroom was clean and lovely, with a large rain shower. We also got to use the terrace outside the apartment, where there's seating and a big parasol. Everything was charmingly decorated and exceptionally clean, and you can tell the hosts put a lot into the renovation. They were lovely, and check-in and communication were excellent. We got the key safe code and Wi-Fi password by email ahead of time; check-in starts at 2 pm. My girlfriend also wanted to mention the hairdryer: it was decent and not one of those noisy monstrosities you often get in hotels. We really can't understand Terry's rather mediocre review.

The room was lovely, and breakfast came in a box. It was unusual, but there was plenty of it. Arriving in Verona by motorcycle, we found the place hard to locate. We couldn't really judge how close it was to the historic centre.

The owners were lovely, and the place is furnished with real style. It's about a 15-minute walk to the old town, making it a great choice for a short Verona trip. Highly recommended!
