If you have a car, parking is a hassle, especially getting into the city, dropping off your luggage, then leaving the car in a garage about 500 m away. The hotel is right in the city centre, just steps from the Colosseum, so you can't beat the location. Breakfast was included with our room. It was nice, a typical Italian European breakfast. The rooms are quite small, but very quaint.

We got into Verona late, and our AirBnB had let us down, so we were searching for somewhere to stay that night. Not fun, but we found an apartment room here and it was lovely. The desk staff were really helpful and even walked us up the road to our room. Brilliant location in the heart of the city near the Arena. Well worth a stay, they saved our bacon!

After a disappointing stay in Tremezzo, Hotel Bologna was a wonderful change. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast had variety and was nicely presented, and the rooms were typically small for Europe but clean and very comfortable. We'd recommend it.

The generous breakfast buffet deserves a special mention, with fruit, prosecco, different breads, jams and savoury options. The location is great, right next to the arena, and my daughter says it's very child-friendly. She wanted to extend our stay by a few days straight away, and it's become our new favourite hotel. We'll definitely be back as soon as we can. The rooms are lovely, harmoniously decorated, very clean and comfortable. Staff are extremely dedicated, friendly and courteous. Absolutely 5 stars, just perfect!

We liked it so much we almost changed our plans to stay a second night. Friendly, helpful service, a good breakfast, and a great location for seeing all the sites in Verona.
