Brennero

The homemade breakfast was great, especially the incredible cakes made by the owner, a really lovely lady. We also liked the cosy, family feel, the comfortable rooms and the lovely view across the waterway, with no traffic around. We had a great deal by calling to reserve, which I'd suggest doing. We'll come back.

The staff were super nice, and we loved everything about this family hotel in Parona, Verona. Our room was modern, clean and lovely, with a balcony. Breakfast had plenty of sweet and savoury choices. It's right by a river, and the centre is about 20 minutes away by bus.

Mary helped us with information about the Verona Pass and thermal spa, and looked after us from beginning to end. I liked the balcony view, the fridge in the room and the metal shutters that block daylight when you need to rest. The rooms were very clean and tidy, and the homemade food was fantastic. Mary can cook whatever you ask for, and we've tried that ourselves. It's on a main route into central Verona, good value, and I loved it so much I added one extra night, then another. From now on, I'll always use this hotel when I travel to Verona.

Mary was a wonderful hostess and ready to help with anything. The breakfast buffet had an impressive range of choices, and the homemade food was delicious with very generous servings. My room was spotless and roomy, with a balcony over the river, and the bed was very comfortable.
