The Wi-Fi didn’t work properly while we were there, but we’d happily come back. The suite was spotless and felt luxurious, with a lovely balcony view over Piazza Erbe, comfortable slippers, a great bed, coffee and toiletries. For the comfort and prime location, the price was excellent. You’re right in the heart of Verona with everything an easy walk away. Online check-in went smoothly, and a staff member kindly met us on arrival to help with our luggage.

What stayed with us most was how special the room felt. We travel a lot as a couple, and I’ve never stayed in a more beautiful one. The space, quiet and natural light made it feel like stepping into another world. It was fully equipped, with proper glasses, plates and cutlery and thoughtful details everywhere. Even the minibar felt suited to a palace suite, with champagne, vintage wines and a refined selection. There’s real character here beyond the luxury. We felt genuinely privileged to stay, and it turned into a memory we’ll keep for life. We’ve never wanted to return to a hotel before, but we’ll certainly come back. I still can’t understand how it’s officially rated three stars. It’s easily the most beautiful hotel room we’ve ever seen. Thank you for preserving such an extraordinary place. Extremely disappointing. The room was painfully noisy, with cafes open until 3 a.m. and disturbances all night. We also had no hot water. When I raised these problems, our concerns were brushed aside. The photos make the place look beautiful, but that wasn’t our experience. Hygiene and service were unacceptable for the price, which felt like five-star rates. This doesn’t feel like a real hotel as it’s presented online, and I don’t understand the 4.7 rating. I believe the reviews are fake: after I said I was ready to post an honest review, two positive ones suddenly appeared. One said there was plenty of hot water, which absolutely wasn’t true for us.

There’s no receptionist permanently at the desk, and if you want to leave your luggage, it has to sit unattended in an empty corridor. Our room had lots of original features, though some modern furniture and lamps didn’t fit the interior. The balcony was tiny, with a wobbly table and chairs. Most of all, we couldn’t sleep on any of our four nights because music and noise from the square carried on through the night.
