The staff at reception were generally fine, but they didn't seem to care much. They rarely acknowledged guests unless you went over to them, not even with a buongiorno or buonasera. The location is handy, about a 10-minute walk from the train station with a large suitcase and 20 minutes from the main square in the historic centre. But the hotel has clearly seen better days. The rooms are basic and dated, which would've been fine if that were how they were presented. The photos don't match what you get, and the price wasn't low enough to make up for that gap or the service.

We found cigarette remains on the terrace, which was disappointing. Otherwise, the room and bathroom were clean and well maintained. Our junior suite was in a separate building next door, which was fine overall. Being close to the city centre made it easy to explore on foot. We hadn't booked parking ahead and there were no spaces when we arrived, so we had to use a nearby garage, which was a bit inconvenient.

The staff were very helpful, especially in the breakfast room, and they let me check in early. There's a small bar, and the rooms were quiet, comfortable and very clean. The location is great, about 10 minutes from central Verona and 10 minutes from the train and bus station, handy for exploring northern Italy.

There are lots of great restaurants nearby, including Brunch Republic, which serves great brunch all day. The hotel is easy to find on the main road to Verona's historic centre, and it's quite close to the train station, about a seven-minute walk. Quite a nice place.

It's about 10 minutes from Verona's main train station and the main attractions, so it's a good choice if you want to stay near the station without being too far from the centre. The facilities are somewhat dated, but the hotel has what you need.
