I was glad the restaurant stayed open on New Year's Eve, since everything else was closed that night. The room was cozy, breakfast excellent, and the staff friendly with good tips. Parking was plentiful and the hotel sits right by the highway, though it's farther from the city center.

Having a car makes getting around from here fine, though the location itself isn't ideal. The hotel was comfortable, and I appreciated being able to charge my rented electric car overnight at their on-site charger for two vehicles. Breakfast was a very good continental spread and felt like great value for the price. I definitely recommend the hotel for comfort and convenience.

At check-in, we found an unclean bathroom with an unpleasant smell, which was a disappointing first impression. Breakfast was acceptable, but several people kept asking for our room number, and that felt uncomfortable. The hotel is quite far from the city, and the price doesn't seem fair for the quality.

At exactly 8:00 in the morning, loud drilling and heavy construction noise from directly above Room 221 woke me abruptly. I couldn't rest or sleep at all, and it ruined the point of booking a hotel room. Noise like that during normal sleeping hours shows no respect for paying guests. Management should schedule construction outside the time guests need to rest. If you're coming to Verona to recover and relax, I'd strongly suggest staying somewhere else.

While we were in bed, we found a bed bug. They moved us to another room, but after checking it for more bugs, we went into the bathroom and saw dried urine stains in the toilet. The service was very poor. It makes no sense to offer a room that isn't clean.
