The room and location made me very happy, and the apartment was clean with everything needed as a base in Verona. I booked through Booking.com and had no trouble arranging my arrival time with the manager. Our train went wrong and we arrived much later than planned, but they still sent all the instructions we needed to get into the flat. I hadn’t realized the city tax had to be paid in cash, and I didn’t have any Euros. The woman kindly paid it for me, and I’m mailing her the money.

I wouldn’t consider this place reliable. I’d booked a stay and was told to share my arrival time 30 minutes before getting there. I did, but when I arrived nobody came to check me in, and nobody answered the phone. I called several times, sent messages, and rang the bell, which didn’t actually work. The shop next door said it was normal for people to wait a long time to be checked in. I cancelled straight away and booked somewhere just a few steps away.

The location is central, but the bed could be better. I’d also like to see more amenities, including a few extra snacks.
