I booked through AirBnB and asked to change the dates, but Canguro Properties completely ignored my messages. I had no choice but to cancel and book somewhere else, which was much cheaper and seems much nicer anyway. Don’t waste your time booking places in Verona managed by them.
The self check-in information was excellent, and the apartment was very clean. It’s trendy, quiet, and central, on the first floor overlooking a courtyard. My only criticism from our late October stay is that there was no heating on when we arrived or during the visit, and I had to ask about it. It also felt rather cavernous and very dark inside, unlike the promotional photos.
I never even entered the property, but my reservation was canceled on the day I was due to leave because there was no room available. They kept the €150 security deposit and €42.50 tourist tax and didn't refund either. It felt like a clear scam. Completely incompetent and fraudulent.
Check-in was smooth and convenient, and the apartment was lovely, with tasteful furnishings and everything provided. It’s in a peaceful spot that’s still central. I’d recommend it.
The photos make the place look beautiful, but it’s run by people who don’t know what they’re doing.
