Hotel Butterfly - We Suite

Worst hotel I've ever been to 🤨 The room was tiny, had no furniture, and was humid with poor ventilation. Breakfast barely existed, just a few options to pick from.

The room smelled damp and had mold and old furniture. In the bathroom, there was no ventilation and spider webs. Breakfast had very few choices, and I found a hair, or maybe fur, in mine.

This place only makes sense if you're a couple with a rental car and want to get far away. It's a long way from everything, so it doesn't work well for travelers without a car. Taxis charge an extra 25€ on top of the fare just to pick you up. Getting to Pisa to rent a bike cost me 65€, and there was no bike rental on site despite what others had said. Cedric Marco, the bellboy, was the only reason my stay was tolerable. He was helpful and explained the problems. Sorry.

I got to see what the hotel's service was like after leaving my jacket in the room. I called a few days later and was told they had it, but when I called the following week to say when I'd come to collect it, it had disappeared. Communication makes it hard for foreigners to stay here, which is typical for all italy. I expected the rooms to all have a special design, but that isn't true. The service brings down the standard, and the hotel is quite far from the beach.
