Camping Village Paradiso

We were there for a week with classmates, sleeping in bungalows. I shared mine with four other people, and the hot weather plus the cramped space made it an uncomfortable stay. They did give us a spare key and were friendly in general. We went to the nearby beach almost every day, though wild boars roam the forest at night, so be careful then. There were no public showers there, which meant walking back sandy and covered in saltwater. The place seemed to charge for everything, including air conditioning. The “breakfast” we booked was raw toast with one cheese and one ham option, plus croissants in plastic wrappers. I wouldn't stay at this Camping Village again.

People were shouting, arguing, and laughing loudly at 3 am. We reported it a couple of times, but nothing changed, and there didn't seem to be any quiet-time rules like at the other campsites we've visited. The reception staff were rude, and the toilets and showers were dirty. The washing machines were disgusting and falling apart too. Worst campsite we've ever stayed at. Very disappointing, avoid it if you can.

Our five-person cottage could use a little upkeep. The tap leaked, the shower could have been tidier, and there wasn't much equipment inside. That may have been specific to our cottage. We mostly used the shower block instead, which had more room and a good shower. We also had a small misunderstanding over the air conditioning, but reception sorted it out very neatly. This was our third visit in eight years, and we enjoyed it again. The shop, bar, and restaurant were fine, with friendly staff, and we had some very nice meals at the restaurant. The beach is close by, and there's plenty to do around Tuscany. We'll definitely return.

The only really nice person we met was a woman who mostly worked at the bar. Everyone else at reception and in the restaurant was rude. We waited 3.5 hours for dessert, and three times they told us, “I'll be there in a short moment.” They ignored us on two days in a row. After almost three brutally long days, we left. It rained a little, so they closed the pool and trampolines. The pool was there, but REALLY COLD, colder than the ocean. Don't go here. Better to stay home.
