There were some frustrating basics: we had to buy a sponge, oil and salt for the kitchen, and even tea or coffee would have been nice to have. The room and little terrace were crowded with trinkets, and we didn't get much privacy because random people often walked through the terrace. The Wi-Fi was almost unusable, dropping out on my iPhone every few minutes for a few minutes at a time. There was only a sheet, no duvet or anything warmer, so nights could be cold. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest either. The stay was not good, but not terrible, apart from her arrogant manner. About 30 minutes after we arrived and let ourselves in, she knocked and asked for our IDs in an arrogant tone, without even welcoming us.

There are handy places nearby: a bar 100 meters away, a bakery at 200 meters, and a supermarket 300 meters from the house. The hostess was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The sea is very close, with several swimming options, and the outdoor seating area must be lovely in summer.

The garden is lovely, and you can reach both the town center and the sea on foot in just a few minutes. Some youth clubs are nearby too. The place is very functional, even in winter, and the location is excellent.

The owners were thoughtful and kind, and the place had a comfortable feel. A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Patrizia for such a lovely experience.
