Villa Tina

We booked directly with the hotel and got a lovely room at a great price. The location was perfect, right by the beach, and the balcony had a lovely view. Everyone on staff we met was charming and helpful.

Breakfast was amazing. There were scrambled eggs, over-easy eggs, eggs and soldiers, a few kinds of meat and cheese, pastries, cereal, yogurt and juices. I was really happy with it since most Italian B&Bs only serve pastries. The location is perfect for carnival, the staff are helpful, and there’s a bar in the lobby where you can order hot chocolate and other things. They left snacks out too, which was nice when we were cold and tired and wanted to watch the rest of the carnival parade from the breakfast room. We were very happy at Villa Tina and I’m eager to come back next year. The hotel is beautiful and our room was adorable, but the bed and pillows were HARD. Someone vacuumed in the lobby at 9 pm, again at 10, and again later. I was too tired to check my phone for the time. They were probably cleaning up carnival confetti, since I didn’t hear a vacuum the first night, but I wish they’d used a broom while we were trying to sleep.

Breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. This charming hotel has period features and an old-world approach to service, delivered efficiently and professionally. The location is fantastic, and everyone was very helpful. Benjamin the night porter is a great chap. I’d definitely visit again.

We booked the day before, at the last minute, and were pleasantly surprised by the room and the great view. The rooms aren’t fancy and the shower was a bit small, but I felt it was great value for the money.
