B&B Relax

A clean, well-equipped property with a very helpful owner. The location near the center is excellent, and the quality for the price is excellent too. I'd recommend it for business or tourism.

Breakfast is self-serve, with juice, jam and more, plus a coffee machine and jugs for heating milk or water for tea. The property has three rooms sharing a kitchen and living room. My room was quiet, with no traffic noise, and the rooms are clean. The bathroom was very spacious. The price is reasonable.

I arrived at night, so I didn't spot the problems until later. There was mold in the bedroom and a lot more around the shower hose and on the shower floor. How long had that stall gone without cleaning? It was disgusting. The milk in the fridge had been expired for 20 days, so I ended up having breakfast at a bar. I told the owner, but got no reply. The room had a private bathroom outside, but no key. This was a terrible experience for me, unlike anything I've had at other B&Bs. I'm talking about hygiene and the condition of the rooms, not luxury. These aren't rooms that should be rented out. I left €108, basically as a gift. Never again.

The owner was a friendly and helpful person. The place is a small apartment in Vicenza's Villaggio del Sole neighborhood, with three rooms for rent. Breakfast needs some improvement: it was a set place at a table, not a buffet, and there wasn't much available. The sheets and blankets could use an upgrade too.
