The location was a real highlight, with the city and mountain views within reach. Our stay was great: the room was spotless, with fresh white towels, and the street-facing windows stayed quiet enough that we slept well. The blackout shutters were useful when we wanted to rest during the day. We were also able to check in early without any trouble. Breakfast had lots of choice and tasted great, and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help.

I’m still shocked by how badly we were treated. My husband and I checked out on time, before the 11:00 deadline, then waited quietly in the lobby for a friend and a taxi. First, they tried to charge us €21 for breakfast, even though we hadn’t ordered or eaten it. Then they took €5 for something, which we paid, and we stayed seated. The manager began shouting that we should go call our friend, telling us to get up and knock on his door, and saying he would show us where it was. We said there was no need to yell and explained that we were calling him, and he had asked for five minutes. The manager kept shouting and threatened to call the police, though I don’t know why, since we weren’t responsible for the person we were waiting for. We told him to go ahead. He was extremely rude, frightened me, and ruined my mood and vacation, without ever apologizing. When our friend finally came out, we were simply made to leave the lobby. I’ve never experienced service this terrible.

I had a great one-night stay. The room was simple, clean, and charming, with a comfortable bed, good WiFi, and good AC. It’s a very short walk to Stazione Centrale and Centro Storico. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here.

I’d tell people not to stay here. I’d had a good night’s sleep in a new city, but the hotel worker turned the morning into a really upsetting experience. There were hard knocks and strange loud noises at my door. When I opened it, he told me to get out of his hotel. I was shocked and scared because nothing had happened between us before. I asked why, and he said check-out was at 11:00. I said I could pay and apologized for oversleeping, but he just kept shouting in the same tone. There were also way too many black hairs in the shower. The owner should take a course on how to speak to guests.
