Mi&Ti Bed&Breakfast

The apartment itself was lovely, with a classy feel in the old town. There were two rooms and space for four people traveling together, plus a small kitchen, though we were told to use only one bed. The bar staff member was great, spoke excellent English, and made us feel welcome. The host’s treatment of us was the complete opposite. We’ve cycled all over and stayed in plenty of hotels and B&Bs, but this was our worst check-in in Italy or elsewhere in Europe. The host gave us no information, even though we had to collect the keys from her bar in town. She was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. On arrival we also had to pay 30 euros extra to store our bikes, although they could easily have been left in the property’s hall. Breakfast in Italy often means going to a bar or cafe with a voucher. The host said it wouldn’t open until 9, the kitchen was closed, and breakfast was worth at most 10 euros. We got cheesecake, apparently restaurant desserts, with no croissants or fresh bread even though she knew we were staying. She showed no interest in us as visitors to her town, and I don’t think she deserves the score on booking.com.
