Il Pieddo

The rooftop terrace was a highlight, with two loungers, a huge parasol, and a lovely view. The house itself is a beautifully restored old stone place on the edge of Vico del Gargano's old town, all to yourselves. It's arranged over two floors, with the living room, kitchen, and bathroom below and the bedroom upstairs. There are several stone steps up from the street, and parking is available right by the entrance or along the street. We loved how much care went into the design and furnishings. The kitchen was thoroughly equipped, from a DeLonghi espresso machine that takes pods, gas stove and oven, fridge, kettle, juicer, and toaster to plenty of dishes, utensils, and outlets, including USB ports and an induction phone charger. For our week, there was more breakfast food than we could get through: toast, crackers, rice cakes, yogurt, different muesli, nuts, biscuits, granola bars, milk, plus coffee, pods, tea, oil, and spices. Antonio was easy to reach and very helpful. A real gem.
