La Tuja Relais du Parc

The quiet setting puts you within reach of Sorrento, Naples, and Pompeii, and the grounds and views are incredible. La Tuja only opened in April 2025, so Google Maps still shows it as a construction site, but the hotel itself is beautiful. The finishes are top quality, and even the air conditioning units sit away from the building to keep things peaceful. We were welcomed as soon as we arrived, got help with our bags, then settled into a huge, spotless, modern suite with a terrace looking out over the pool, sea, and Mount Vesuvius. It was comfortable, with a big TV, a great shower, and plenty of pillow choices. Great value, too. Dinner at the hotel on our first night was really good. La Tradizione, just down the road, was some of the best food we had on the trip, so both are worth trying. Some hotels call themselves boutique without quite living up to it. La Tuja does, and I’m sure it’ll be five-star before long. We’ll be back.

We were 18 people staying for three days in November, mixing work with some time to relax, and the whole group was delighted. The team was always ready to help, and the General Manager, a real gentleman, helped me get everything arranged just right. They also connected us with useful local companies, which made the trip more productive. The place has a great atmosphere and real care for its guests, with attention to detail throughout. The location, rooms, and meals were all lovely, and the service felt royal. We can confidently recommend the hotel and its outstanding staff.

We got everywhere by public transport since we chose not to hire a car, and the hotel driver was entirely available to take us to and from the port and train station. I only wish we’d spent time exploring the nearby villages and towns. Maybe next time, with a rental car! The hotel is a beautiful, peaceful place. The staff go above and beyond without being sycophantic, and the chef is incredible without being fussy.

Our room was lovely to look at and had every comfort we could have wanted. The property itself has a peaceful charm, and the staff were happy to help us plan and arrange activities in the area. No request seemed too much, and they really tried to make the stay memorable. We were there for a week on our honeymoon, and the welcome from the start was warm and sincere. Everyone played a part, from the manager and reception to the kitchen and housekeeping. The service and friendliness made the whole stay fantastic.
