Laqua Countryside

We did the cooking class with Davide, which was a complete delight, and dinner was something we won’t forget. The food was unbelievable from breakfast to the poolside club sandwich to that meal. The people were kind and welcoming, the rooms beautiful and thoughtfully designed, and Ticciano is such a peaceful, lovely town. My husband and I stayed two nights during our honeymoon in Rome and on the Amalfi coast. This was the highlight of the trip so far, probably the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. We didn’t want to leave, and we’re already looking at booking another Laqua property for our next visit to Italy.

The one thing that kept this from a full five out of five was the room noise. Even with the door and window shut, we could hear some sound from the restaurant, and the air conditioning wasn’t especially quiet. A hotel needs to let you sleep well. Everything else was just perfect. Laqua Countryside is in a quiet town, great for resting, and the staff are extremely friendly and available around the clock. The food, from breakfast through dinner, is amazing, Michelin-level.

Lunch felt a bit overpriced for what you get. Otherwise, the service and room were perfect, and the location is fantastic, a one-of-a-kind little idyll. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy yourself, and I’d definitely book a meal at the restaurant.

The service is among the best I’ve ever experienced, and breakfast was generous and satisfying. The pool was clean, the water lovely, and it was a relaxing place to spend time. The whole property is beautifully designed and cared for. The rooms are fantastic, especially the upstairs Marina room. I recommend this place with all my heart!
