The beach and sea are wonderful, but the wind is strong and frequent, even if it can be a help when it's 40°. The sea is barely visible from here, just a faint line. The garden smell mentioned before wasn't noticeable to us at all. You need a car to reach the sea. Walking or biking isn't realistic because the town has no pedestrian road or even a sidewalk. Keep that in mind if you're coming with children. The apartment is new and clean, and the owner tries to sort out problems. That's the one star I'm giving. I don't understand why earlier reviews were deleted, and I want future guests to know what to expect. Bring a coffee maker and tea cups if you want coffee or tea. We had to boil coffee in a 2-liter pot. In the four-person room there were only three coffee cups, so bring an extra one. There were no tea cups, just a very small glass that would then be unavailable for water or other drinks. There's a coffee machine outside where you can buy coffee and make it yourself in a shared outdoor area, then drink it standing at a table before returning to your room. Sugar is loose in a paper box with one spoon for everyone. Since the coffee area is open and the wind is always strong, your coffee may end up with sand in it. There's no proper knife, only table knives, and not enough equipment to cook food. You can't drink wine here because there are no glasses or anything to open it with. Noise insulation is a big problem. Even though there are quiet hours, people shout, knock, and make noise, and you can hear everything through the walls. Karaoke and discos at nearby campsites go on until morning, so you can't sleep with the window open. Mosquitoes bite badly, and there are no mosquito nets except in the bedroom. We got bitten a lot and found it unbearable. We weren't prepared for that.

Mr. Vincenzo is very friendly, and the apartment is clean. I'd recommend the place if you're after a quiet summer holiday.

Vincenzo, the owner and dad, and the other people there were so kind and helpful. It was a spectacular holiday in an enchanting place, with lots of peace and everything close by. I recommend it, and I'll be back next year too.

We keep coming back to these apartments, this was our fourth or fifth stay. The place is peaceful and away from the noise and nightlife, and the apartments are clean, welcoming, and fully equipped, with air conditioning and everything you need in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. The owner is especially kind and always ready to help. Its position between Peschici and Vieste, near the entrance to the Umbra forest on the way to San Giovanni Rotondo, also makes it a handy base for outings. The sea is only a few kilometers away.
