We barely wanted to leave. The hosts think of everything, and were so kind and attentive throughout our stay. From the hotel, the beaches and local sights are an easy walk, and there’s plenty to explore in Vieste and beyond. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely, with the hosts' garden below and the cathedral and castle in view. There was a good selection of continental food, including cake freshly made by the owner. Our room was fresh and clean, with a balcony overlooking the tree-lined square and the sea. We also went to a fascinating fishing demonstration on a trabucca. The owner can arrange sunbeds at a nearby beach and parking, each for €10 per day. It’s an authentic Italian town, and I wish we were still there. I can't recommend this place enough.

The location right in the center, the lovely rooms, terrace and wonderful breakfast would already make this B&B a great find. But Mariapina and her mum are what really make it special. It’s just perfect, and we’d recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Vieste.

We stayed at the B&B I Cavalieri from July 6 to 9, 2023, and hope we can come back for longer. It's on the edge of Vieste's historic center, right across from Villa Comunale. The room was spacious and clean, with a balcony and a spectacular view over the Villa Comunale. We were a little concerned that the evening crowds and the bars in the limited traffic zone, which starts at 8:00 PM, would keep us awake. Maria Pina had assured us the windows were soundproof, and she was right. We slept well. The bathroom was clean too, with a big shower and taps that worked perfectly, which isn't always a given. Teresa and Maria Pina, along with their assistant Loredana, made us feel welcome from the start. They were always around, courteous, and gave us helpful, precise guidance for everything we asked about during our short time in Vieste. Breakfast was served on a breezy, cool terrace, and each morning started with a smile from the person helping us. There were local and homemade items, including Mrs. Teresa's delicious cakes. The terrace was a lovely place for breakfast, with plenty to choose from and Teresa's delicious homemade cakes. Maria Pina, Federico, Loredana, and the wonderful Signora Teresa gave us such a warm welcome, and helped us figure out the best places to see and routes to take. The B&B is delightful, clean and fresh-smelling, right in a great central spot in Vieste. We'd happily recommend it.
