Baia dei Lombardi

The beach is huge and lovely for a walk, and there are two bus services that stop right outside. This little campsite is right on the beach, with a shop selling decent basics. We stayed in our campervan, though there are chalets and tent pitches too. Staff were great, the restaurant had good pizzas and other dishes, and the facilities were plentiful and well maintained. There aren't any ombrelloni on the beach, but the trees along the wall provide shade that grows through the afternoon. If you can, choose a pitch under netting. The trees give good shade but are full of pigeons, and we had quite a bit to clean off our cabin roof after we left.
