Residence Fontana Vecchia

The rooms seem recently renovated and were spotless, with air conditioning and, in some rooms, a fan that worked well. There’s a small kitchenette with the basics, and coffee and snack vending machines in the hall. The owner is kind and will help arrange things or explain how to get them. We could park safely in a lot, with the police station across the road, and the main entrance has a code. There’s a soccer stadium beside the station, though I can’t say whether games get noisy. The location is right in the center, within a few minutes’ walk of the beach, restaurants, supermarkets, the yacht jetty, shops, and sights. A good spot if you want to experience everyday Italian life while staying somewhere safe and private.

We loved it and will definitely come back. The kitchen was spotless and had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and really helpful. Great location, too.

It meant a lot that you sorted out the problem with my reservation. I’d gladly come back to your place when I’m in Vieste again. ♥️

The worst. This hotel feels like it’s only for local residents with nowhere else to go. Staying there was like being in a tin can, with echoes everywhere. Not a single piece of carpet, four beds but only one blanket, and every bed was harder than the tile floor.
