A good base for the coves and sandy beaches, and only ten minutes from Vieste and its amenities. It’s a quiet place among olive trees, with handy hot and cold showers in the garden. The owner was courteous and helpful, and the houses are nicely finished, even outside. There are covered parking spaces too. Gargano is quite touristy and expensive compared with the rest of Puglia, especially when you consider what’s included. Air conditioning costs extra, there’s a shared washing machine, and there’s no soap or other amenities.

I’m still staying here while writing this. Lelio, who runs the property, is such a friendly and genuine owner and always available when we need anything. There are six apartments, and the exterior was renovated recently. The furnishings are simple, but the setting is fantastic, with olive trees and the fragrant Gargano Mediterranean scrub all around. Even during these very hot days, the rooms feel quite breezy. Dogs are welcome. Well done, Lelio!

Villa no. 4 was quiet and wonderfully cool, with olive trees all around and everything we needed for a relaxing break. Lelio and his wife made us feel welcome right away with their warmth and kindness. The lovely old center and so many heavenly beaches are just a short walk away. Vieste was a real discovery for us. Five stars!

We spent most days eating on the apartment's veranda, surrounded by olive trees and the sound of cicadas. It was such a peaceful spot, and the apartment had every comfort we needed. Villa Celeste is also well placed for walks: Molinella beach and Spiaggia dei Colombi take about 10 minutes to reach, while San Lorenzo beach is around 15. Celestina and Lelio were kind and always helpful. A great choice for a quiet holiday in Gargano, highly recommended!
