Villa Giulia

Villa Giulia made us want to return to southern Italy. Giulia and her family were kind, thoughtful hosts, and the apartment was spotless and fully equipped. We spent a week there in July, in a quiet, relaxing area among centuries-old olive groves. Everything we needed was in the apartment, including a washing machine, and it was spacious and spotlessly clean. It's set in a quiet olive grove, just a three-minute drive from the center and beach. Ms. Giulia and her family were very kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!

We spent 14 days here, from 1 to 14 August 2023, and had a really bad experience. The apartment was like an oven, with air conditioning only in the bedroom. Its key was fixed to the key ring, so when we left, the air conditioning switched off. The property is 3 km outside Vieste, reached by a very uncomfortable road with potholes. It was narrow, dusty, and had no lighting. There were lots of free-roaming cats around the property, and overall it seemed poorly cared for. Phone calls and internet were almost impossible because the network kept going down. The property's wifi was just as unreliable, and we had to keep entering the code whenever the connection dropped. It felt out of the world.
