Albergo Giannina

The food was good, and most of the staff were friendly and kind, but this was a very disappointing two-week work stay with a colleague. The older gentleman was there most of the time and was extremely rude to us more than once. He seems to have no sense of hospitality or customer service, and his attitude really spoiled the atmosphere of what is otherwise a beautiful hotel. Our room had lovely old-fashioned furniture and photos, but it was very dusty. The full-board terms also weren’t explained properly: food and water were included, but even one glass of wine with dinner cost extra, which we were only told at checkout. The hotel’s reply to my review reflects the attitude of the management and ownership. Our room was kept clean, and the rubbish they found was just sandwich wrappers and water bottles. Why would those need special disinfectant? The rest of the staff were very nice and friendly. Stella, one of the young waitresses, was always kind to us, as were the older waitress and the younger man at the bar. Another woman told us we’d have to move rooms on our last night and was very nice too. If there was a cleanliness problem with our room or bathroom, why wasn’t it mentioned then? As I said, the older man’s bad attitude is the only real problem. He should stop working there, and the hotel could be a huge success because everything else is very nice and the location is wonderful.

I’m so grateful for this experience at a wonderful family hotel. The owners are friendly, and the design is unique. The rooms are comfortable, freshly renovated, and have everything you need. Breakfast was delicious, with aromatic coffee. Wishing your hotel growth and prosperity!

The hotel sits in a small, quiet town, with great art, helpful directions, and a lovely staff. The lakes around the area are beautiful, so make sure to drive around and see them. They also had outdoor movies, food, and drinks!
