The place was clean and attractive, and the hosts were friendly and ready to help. But the lack of privacy was unacceptable. They came into our room without telling us or asking, even when we were out, switched off the AC we'd left on, and moved our towels into the bathroom without our consent. They also opened the wardrobes and looked inside, where we'd left towels hanging. Being watched each time we came and went made the stay uncomfortable. It felt intrusive, not hospitable.

The location worked perfectly for our Venice, Padova, and Verona route, and everything was close by. Stefano made cappuccino each morning, and breakfast had fruit, sweet pastries, muffins, jams, creams, yogurt, meat, and plenty more. He also told us about nearby restaurants, with boards there to photograph and help choose a place. There was gated private parking that closed automatically, and the internet was fast and good. We found Il Farfasole through the reviews, and they were right about how lovely it is. Stefano and Stefania were wonderful hosts. They welcomed us for our honeymoon with champagne and two glasses. Our room was clean, spacious, and decorated with sunflowers, with a lovely garden view. The guidebooks were useful, but our hosts' suggestions for things to do and places to visit were best. They helped whenever we asked, and the atmosphere felt so welcoming that we settled in right away. I'd already recommended Farfasole to friends and family, and we're looking forward to coming back, hopefully soon.

We booked a room with its bathroom separate, and that worked out fine for us. The hosts were helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was great, and there was free parking behind a gate right next to the building.

The owners were friendly and really helpful, and the place was wonderful. Our room was clean and nice, and breakfast was delicious. We definitely recommend staying here.
