Hotel Ventolosa

It was a little tricky getting to the main highways, but leaving at the right time avoids any problems. The hotel itself was great: a large, quiet room with air conditioning, and breakfast was richer than what I’ve had at other Italian hotels. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was good and reasonably priced.

The view is great, but the room quality was terrible. A medium-sized backpack was enough to break a shelf shortly after it was put there, and the soap shelf in the bathroom is tilted, so whatever you put on it just slides off. The food was the only decent part, mostly the ice cream. The vegetarian option was just fries with molten cheese. If you’re there for the view, go for it. If anything else puts you off, don’t.

I’ve stayed here twice with my classmates, both times in January, because the prices are affordable and it’s close to BGY airport. The rooms are nice and cozy, and the food was more than fine. We had very few problems, and the staff were always kind and helpful. They were also really patient and tolerant, given how noisy and rowdy we were. Looking out the window at the stream covered in snow was quite a view. Definitely a good place.

The staff were friendly, and the rooms were fine, with large, clean bathrooms and a nice view from the balcony. The food was okay, though very simple. Unfortunately, there were lots of ants running across the floors.
