Breakfast was generous and delicious, and we could look out toward the Sicilian coast from our room. We only spent one night here, but everything was new, clean, and neatly kept. The staff were welcoming and ready to help, and there was private parking at the back. We’d happily recommend it.

We’ve returned to Eolo's house three times, and each stay has been a pleasure. The location is great and the room is clean. Filippo, the owner, is attentive and always willing to help. Highly recommend it.

I slept comfortably here with my dog, and the owner had bowls available in case I needed them. The place was welcoming, spotlessly clean, and smelled lovely. The kitchen has plenty of equipment, and there’s a spot to relax with cards and board games. It’s in an excellent location.

Quiet and peaceful, with the train station and ferry terminal for Sicily only a short walk away. The B&B is simple, but clean and welcoming. Mr. Giuseppe was kind and very helpful. A good place to pause before or after traveling to Sicily.

We were grateful for the warm welcome from the owners, who also sent us off with delicious bergamot jam. The B&B terrace is a lovely place to watch the sunset, even though Villa San Giovanni itself isn’t a must-see. Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and everything worked as it should. The owners were especially courteous and helpful, beyond what we expected. It’s a quiet place to stay within easy reach of Scilla and Reggio Calabria, or a handy stop before heading to Sicily the next day. For a meal without getting back in the car, the owner suggested Braceria, a five-minute walk away. The food there was excellent.
