Perla del Sud

I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, even for half a night. We paid €75 for a room with no running water and extremely poor hygiene. The B&B wasn’t even suitable for pets. There was no toilet paper when we walked in, though that at least got sorted out. The Pakistani man we dealt with was kind, but lacked decorum. If fewer stars had been an option, I would have chosen them.

The only good points for me were the bar staff, Mr. Shaki, and the generous breakfast. The rooms were dirty and smelled bad, and several amenities were missing, including Wi-Fi, which is essential in 2024. I didn’t feel the place was secure, especially at night, so I can’t recommend it at all.

The room and bathroom were spacious, and the hotel was spotless. The staff were friendly, with special credit to Shaki for being so attentive and helpful.

Very clean and well located for both the ferry terminal and train station. Good value for the money, and a good experience overall. Recommended!
