Our deluxe room was just right for us: spacious, quiet and clean. The reception staff were great and happy to help, and the room was cleaned every day. They also changed our beach towels daily at no extra charge. The meals and drinks, though, really spoiled the good impression of the hotel. At breakfast there was fruit, bread, pastries, some cheese and ham, but eggs cost extra. Even when we paid, the omelette was made with just one egg, with cheese, ham and bread taken from the buffet we’d already paid for. It still had no taste. The price included only one coffee per person, and any extra cost more. They charged about four times the cafe price. It felt like a total ripoff. Dinner was only available from an a la carte menu, with just two choices, fish or meat. Every dinner was bland and flavorless. We wondered if the problem was the chef or the hotel’s general approach to food. It felt like food from a food court reheated in a microwave, and sometimes it hadn’t even been heated properly, since dishes often arrived cold. There were no vegetables or salads with any meal. I don’t know what vegetables did to deserve being ignored like that. There were at least four waiters for four or five tables, yet service was slow. They asked us several times what drinks we wanted, then forgot the order. I’d book this hotel, but without meals.

The apartment was lovely and clean, with an incredible view, and we had a car to explore nearby beaches and places. On a few evenings we walked into town for dinner, which took only 10-15 minutes. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a lovely pool area and a really beautiful beach close by, with reserved beds for hotel guests. Everyone working there was welcoming and helpful. They gave us local tips and booked activities for us. Marco was especially kind to our young son, and Chiara and Gianluca were wonderful too, as was the rest of the team. We spent a week here and had a really lovely time. If you want a warm welcome in a beautiful location, this is the place. We can’t wait to return. The hotel stays very quiet even though the beach is only 10 minutes away on foot. Service was personal, and the staff were always on the ball. Breakfast and the five-course dinner were generous. Highly recommended, a real insider tip!

The gardens are full of flowers and kept in beautiful condition. We also love the small restaurant and bar by the pool, where Christian patiently serves breakfast, drinks and dinner all day. At the beach, you can relax while the hotel lifeguards keep an eye out as you play in the waves. We’ve been making the trip from Canada’s west coast for about 15 years. The staff are the best, professional, friendly and helpful, and they make us feel at home. We’re staying three weeks this time and already planning our next visit. It’s a favorite spot.

The rooms could use a little more space, and dinner restaurants don’t open until around 18:30. Otherwise, it’s a great place to stay: the beach is 200 meters away, and there’s a pool, air conditioning, television, a kitchen, a nice balcony for your inflatables, and parking on the property. The city center is nearby, and the staff are kind.
