The rooms and breakfast were decent, and the location is hard to beat. It’s a great base for getting to the lovely beaches around Villasimius and Capo Carbonara.

We were really disappointed. The worst hotel of our two-week stay in Sardegna, mostly because there was so little information and the staff were not helpful. No one explained reception hours or how to get hot water in the room. We ended up taking a cold shower in a three-star hotel in Europe because the hot water switch looked like a light switch and nobody had told us what it was for. At reception, Noura seemed unsure what to do. Roberta was very nervous and impolite, which is not acceptable customer service for a hotel.

The location is the only thing this place has going for it. Five of us were packed into one tiny, dirty room that smelled bad, with a moldy-smelling bathroom and a kitchen full of ants. The photos are nothing like the place we found, and the price and way it’s advertised are shameful. With the major upgrades it needs, calling it a three-star resort is a stretch. One star at best.

The maintenance area was right beside our studio, and we could hear heavy renovation work for four of our six days. They even used a power saw on Sunday morning. That was after we’d already been given a studio facing the back, despite asking for the two studios we booked to be next to each other because our girls would stay in one. The studios were nearby, so the location itself wasn’t an issue. I asked the front desk if we could move and was told there would be several check-outs the next day. We left our bags ready, but in the morning they said there were also new check-ins, so moving wasn’t possible. A woman came out of the office, possibly the manager, and said the work was being done to improve the property, in a tone that showed little patience with unhappy guests. In mid-July, when the place was fully booked, it seemed easy enough to move us and give our studio to a new arrival. The heavy work was finished on the day we left. In six days, nobody from guest services came to apologize or even ask how things were going. A coffee or any small gesture would have meant something. The service felt nonexistent and rude.
