Lorenza and Celeste were so kind and welcoming, and the place is good value for money. The premises have been recently renovated and sit in an area of extraordinary natural beauty. Villavallelonga itself is having some organizational difficulties because of the municipality's inactivity, though the residence isn't the issue. It still makes a great base for visiting the National Park and the whole Fucino plain.

You won't find luxuries here, but there is everything you need for a decent life. It's a real find if you're after a restful break in nature, with the mountains close by. The management is responsible and reliable.

The staff really know their stuff and are super friendly. Everything tasted great. I'd especially recommend the arrosticini and the truffle agnolotti with walnut cream. A real little gem.
