Breakfast is basic, but enough to get you going, and the restaurant serves good local food. The hotel itself has plenty of old-world character, with genuinely friendly, caring staff. The beds are extremely firm, among the hardest I've slept on, and the building could use some renovation. Still, the village and the surrounding Alps are beautiful, and staying here feels like a real experience.

The rooms felt luxurious, and the price was good for what we got. We chose half-board and the meals were delicious, really outstanding. A lovely family-run hotel with very good service.

The meat didn't seem fresh, and the fries tasted like they came straight from the freezer. The waitress was okay, but I expected more from a place in this country. :(

We arrived late, but the friendly hosts waited for us. The room was nice too, with a balcony and a lovely view.
