The location is great, and breakfast was okay, but I wouldn't recommend eating here. The homemade aglio Olio was the worst I've had: the spaghetti seemed stuck together, like it had cooled and been sitting for hours. The mushroom pizza wasn't fresh, even though we asked. Service was joyless too, especially from the shaved-head guy.

We slept well and found the stay comfortable. The hotel is a short walk from the centre, which worked well for our cycling trip across Europe. Our room was spacious but dated, and the TV didn't work. The bathroom had toiletries and a hairdryer. We ate at the restaurant, where the meal was okay, and the buffet breakfast was good. Staff were efficient.

The pizzas were tasty for the most part, and it's good that gluten-free pizza and other food are available. The staff were nice, but the food could have been better. The bacon dumplings with mushrooms on the specialty page were a disaster: heavily salted dumplings with bland mushrooms and sauce. Nothing here was extraordinary, and I wouldn't recommend it.

They didn't charge us for the pizzas after we told them they were raw. The pizza wasn't good, and the staff were quite rude.

Good wine and decent food, though nothing special. The prices felt fair for what you get. Nice place, and the staff were friendly.
