The owner is extremely friendly, and the rooms are more like small apartments. They're basic but comfortable. Service could be better. The dining area feels cramped, and breakfast is served by the owner every morning at the café downstairs, so it's almost always the same. It could do more to suit the different needs of guests.

We stayed with my husband on New Year's Eve so we could celebrate in the square. The central location meant we were satisfied with the stay. The place was welcoming and clean, and the manager was helpful and friendly. Breakfast wasn't great, but I'd still recommend it for a short visit.

The manager was courteous, but that wasn't enough to make up for the problems: the bidet wasn't fixed in place, the room and sheets smelled of smoke, and the shower curtain was coming off.

We came back for a second visit, and everything was great again. Highly recommended.

Fine for getting a night's sleep, but unfortunately the beds are uncomfortable.
