Il Fumetto

I got into bed hoping the little room might warm up, but it stayed freezing, the sheets were icy, the musty smell was hard to bear, and mosquitoes kept biting me. The room was cold and damp, and the air conditioner didn't help. There were two mosquitoes buzzing over my head, which explained the net and mosquito device, but the net itself was dusty. Before that, I came in through the small door and was met by a nauseating closed-up, cellar-like mold smell. I was tired and tried to let that go. Then I went to shower. There was no hot water, and the handle, which was just resting in place, came off in my hand. That was too much. I called the host at 8:30 pm, but nobody answered or called back. I woke in a terrible state with a full workday ahead. I'd hoped to take a hot, even boiling, shower in the morning, but that wasn't possible, so I had to wash with freezing water. I suppose my mistake was not calling again at 6 am, when I got up. I'm a polite person and didn't want to disturb anyone at that hour. It would have been nice if they had called me back after seeing my call, since there was a guest there. I'd only been contacted by WhatsApp with instructions for getting into the room. I'm sorry, but this gets a complete fail from me.
