Al Baglio 2

The owners were extremely kind and helpful, but we didn’t feel at home at "AL BAGLIO 2." It’s a lovely place for anyone looking for peace and relaxation, close to both the center and the sea. Still, our stay wasn’t the best because of two problems. Water leaked out of the shower stall and flooded the bathroom, so we had to use the towel they provided to mop it up. Eating on the veranda wasn’t really possible either, with all the flies and a bad smell from next door. The neighbor keeps a dog outside, and the yard was full of feces. I want to say I love animals. I actually brought my own cat and dog on vacation.

It’s a simple, welcoming house with everything we needed, and it was very quiet outside town. The owners were so kind and made themselves extremely available. We had a wonderful stay, and I really appreciated how clean the house was.

There was nothing missing from the house. Whatever we needed, we could find, and it was really well stocked. We spent a week there and would gladly come back ❤️ The owner was very kind and helpful, and the location worked well for visiting the area. A wonderful place 😍

There were a few things that made our stay at the Baglio disappointing. The roads to the property have piles of rubbish that look like they’ve been there a long time, which doesn’t make a good first impression for arriving guests. There’s more of the same behind the complex. The Baglio has a sign in Scoglitti, but it’s actually nine kilometers away. The flowerbeds have a sign saying the owners maintain them, and I think they should also deal with the tons of rubbish nearby. We were asked for a 50 euro deposit on arrival to cover possible damage. It was promptly refunded, but this wasn’t mentioned in the initial booking. We stayed five days and needed fresh towels, but had to keep the same ones. Three very gentle, affectionate dogs hang around the parking area. I think they may be malnourished, especially the white one, judging by how they devoured the bread that was given to them.
