I can only speak to the restaurant, since I haven’t stayed in the rooms. The staff are superb: friendly and discreet, but they make you feel at home. There’s a varied menu with delicious Friuli dishes, plus sides like polenta and those finger-licking roast potatoes. They make their own wine, too. We tried the white, which was cool, bubbly, refreshing, and tasty. If you’re camping nearby, I’d highly recommend a trip here.

We really enjoyed the horse riding, restaurants, bar, and pool. The staff and family work hard to look after you and make your stay a great experience, and all the facilities were great. It’s also a handy base for day trips in every direction, especially for our first visit to the area. A great all-round hotel, restaurant, and stables. We’ll be back.

I didn’t stay at the resort, but I went horseback riding and had a meal at the restaurant. The food was really tasty, and service there was great. The ride was superb, with a beautiful trail and lovely, well-cared-for horses. Before we set off, we got a little instruction on handling them, and our guide was kind and very helpful. It costs €30 for an hour, plus €4 for insurance.

Service was quick without making us feel rushed, and the wait staff were kind and spoke some English. The portions were huge, the food simple, delicious, and super tasty, with local ingredients from the farm. There are ten varied large-plate options, plus plenty of à la carte choices. Good prices for the quality and quantity of food and drink. The house wine selection is great, and there’s a big dessert list of traditional local Italian sweets. The main dining room has a really nice relaxed, rustic feel, and there’s outdoor patio seating as well.
