The hosts, Federica and Lavinha, made the stay with their service. They were the best. Relais Villa Sensano has a calm, Zen-like feel, with birdsong, quiet, fruit trees, and flowers all around. The apartments are lovely, and the gardens look out over the hills around Volterra. There’s a big swimming pool as well as a whirlpool with massage chairs.

We loved the classic feel and how clean the accommodation was. The owners were friendly, and the view was beautiful. It’s very quiet around here, with nothing close by, which suited us perfectly.
