Residence Al Mare

Manfredi and Nadia were so kind and friendly, and they speak very good English. Linda was lovely too. They put a lot of effort into helping us enjoy our week, and Manfredi clearly takes pride in personally running the hotel and complex. He arranged very good discounts with his friends at the car and bike hire shop, Paulo's, and with his friend Sebastiano, who takes guests out on his boat. The breakfasts were a treat, especially the pastries and espresso with that view from the top of the hotel. My family and I had our best holiday ever here in June 2023. We stayed in two studio apartments and a double room, all clean, spacious, and well equipped. The complex is about 50 metres from the beach, with quiet bars and restaurants nearby. There are also two reasonably priced supermarkets about 20 metres away on either side, so it was easy to look after ourselves. I was so glad to meet Manfredi, Nadia, and Linda. They really went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. You won't regret staying here, especially if you have breakfast. Manfredi is on the left in the first photo! :)

The rooms are plain but spacious, and the outdoor areas are nicely laid out. It's near the port and main road, with the black sand beach not far away, and right on the road up to the crater.

The room is very well equipped for a reasonable price: air conditioning, a TV with all the European Astra channels, and a cared-for bathroom with a hairdryer. There's also a fully equipped kitchenette in a separate outdoor space with lovely design. Breakfast is served a few meters away on a rooftop terrace with wide mountain views. The pizza rolls were delicious, and there were croissants and a selection of juices too. Fantastic.
